2012 Toronto Zoo. Polar Bear Cub Received His Name (HD, images)

October 11, 2011 marked the birth of a polar bear cub at the Toronto zoo. Six months later, in March, he received his name which was chosen from five names offered in an online survey for public voting. The "Name the Cub" contest attracted over 40 000 votes with the winning name of Hudson becoming the cub's official name. The contest for choosing the best name for the little bear was sponsored by Coca Cola.
