On June 25, the Toronto Zoo proudly hosted an event to officially launch a major construction project as well as kicking-off 50 days of celebrations leading up to the Zoo’s 50th anniversary on August 15th, 2024. Over the past 50 years, the Toronto Zoo has been committed to animal welfare and has collaborated with the University of Toronto Scarborough on research and educational programs.
