Since 1905, the Original Santa Claus Parade has been a beloved Canadian tradition — marking the official start to the Christmas season for millions of viewers across the country. This year’s event promises to be the most spectacular yet, featuring 28 hand-painted, creatively themed floats, including crowd favourites from the Toronto Caribbean Carnival and the Indigenous Creation Story.

The 2025 Santa Claus Parade will once again bring together over 2,000 volunteer elves, 2,500 runners in the Holly Jolly Fun Run, and more than 750,000 excited spectators along the streets of downtown Toronto. Proudly supported by an incredible lineup of sponsors — including 98.1 CHFI, Canadian Tire, LEGO Canada, McDonald’s, Tim Hortons, and Volkswagen Canada — this parade truly showcases the spirit of community, creativity, and Christmas magic.
