- Busy week ahead after record-breaking weekend includes live engine fire ups, live music and the crowning of a national champion.

Family Day lives up to its name at the Canadian International AutoShow.

For the second year in a row, Family Day Sunday set all all-time attendance record at the Canadian International AutoShow, welcoming 54,634 to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on Sunday. It surpassed the all-time one-day high that was set on the same day last year by nearly 150 people. For a holiday weekend that was created to give an opportunity for families to spend more time together, there was a full roster of activities continuing through Family Day on Monday.

Throughout the show, Family Day at the AutoShow, presented by Allstate, saw kids learning to draw in workshops hosted by DC and Marvel comics cover artist Ken Lashley at the Mitsubishi booth, hanging out with canine Instagram influencer Mr. Bentley at the AutoLife booth, playing with LEGO® bricks and checking out the incredible life-sized LEGO® TECHNIC® Bugatti Chiron model at the LEGO® Discovery Zone on Castrol Alley, grooving along with the dancing Mercedes Benz GLE and enjoying macarons at both the Hyundai and Buick displays.

“We spend a lot of time with our families in our cars, and there is a lot at the Canadian International AutoShow for families to enjoy,” says Jason Campbell, General Manager of the AutoShow. “A busy Family Day weekend is in the books, but the action is just revving up for the rest of the week.”
